she said i stole her heart but i had only lost the key
and inside her eyes i saw forever burning just for me.
well, midnight is an evil dame and she'll steal it all away
and wandering the empty streets i have nothing left to say.
i'll pack up things and buy a map and point my body west,
head into the sunset like all the cowboys who knew best,
disappear without a trace and be gone like all bad dreams,
and hope that all this rambling will give birth to better things.
isabel was a gambling gal and she was born under the sun,
whispered to me the sweetest things ever said by anyone,
and i long for the mountains while my love longs for the sands;
is God playing me like Job and just hiding away his hands?
i hope that when i wake up and face another morning blues
perhaps my whole life story will have been the evening news
where the weatherman predicted rain and said to wear a coat
but as always i had shut the door before i heard that note.

Harriet. Harry-ette. Hard-hearted harbinger of haggis. Beautiful, bemuse-ed, bellicose butcher. Un-trust... ing. Un-know... ing. Un-love... ed? "He wants you back," he screamed into the night air like a fireman going to a window that has no fire... except the passion of his heart. I am lonely. It's really hard. This poem... sucks.

In your dimension, are only fictional characters important enough to have their names capitalized?
