As usual, I resort to Uber to find stuff I don't remember...
I was walking and kept humming this melody, not able to remember from what movie it comes from.
My guess is Star Wars but after researching the soundtracks, I found nothing.
I made the melody in Mario Paint Composer to give you a general idea of what it sounds like in the .wmv below...

I'm hearing Final Fantasy VII whenever they do a little flashback story or a 'touching moment' dialogue.
