I came back about a month ago. I was expecting the Uber I left months ago.
Sadly, this is not the case.
It has become stale, boring, predictable.
All that remains is Locksly posting about Majul Cartoons, Dan Tangel spamming with a few posts a day, and nothing worth reading.

Back on track - I don't want to sound like Rob Berg, but this place is dead. I can't even bring myself to post anymore because it, well, it just doesn't seem like it's worth it to put any effort into a post anymore. From the front page, it can be assumed that several of you share that sentiment.

I watched the Redskins get their shit pushed in last night by the Steelers and sadly I left my friend's house and went home, only to find my roommate drunkenly listening to sad music. I told him to play a certain song that was dancing around in my mind and then I broke out the bottle of Cap'n and took three shots back to back to back and was wasted 5 minutes later. I woke up on the couch at 4 in the morning covered in my favorite quilt, in the dark with the TV still on.

Even when I did put effort into my posts, which I used to do from time to time, there were plenty of people who flamed me, gave me bad reviews, said extremely personal and insulting things, etc - but that's part of the user agreement. The materials you post are subject to the review and criticism of other users, whether they are serious consumers of creative writing (har har serious writers forum), or just bored weirdos killing time at work by trolling on the internets. You're fighting an absurd little "battle" against an imaginary and unvanquishable "enemy." Get over it.
Bottom line, this place is for entertainment purposes only - and many of the users find their entertainment in poking the crybabies. It's easy and it's free.
