Does no one find it strange that the media vehemently opposes the very party that is supposedly the proponent of making the rich richer? The media is a collection of business entities run by a handful of obscenely wealthy individuals who make their money peddling "entertainment".

Have a look at all the media entities owned by a single company: http://cjrarchives.org/tools/owners/timewarner.asp

There are a lot of millionaires in the US compared to the rest of the world. When I say ultra rich, I'm talking big CEO multi-billionaires. Millionaires have about as much pull as any other American, they just tend to be more financially skilled or own successful small businesses. It's the ultra rich that really don't care about you, not that the millionaires do, but the millionaires generally are not actively trying to enslave you.

The ultra rich don't get that kind of money by luck. They certainly don't work feverishly to accrue that kind of wealth so they can drive a nice car and sport the latest iWhatever. The nature of greed and lust are such that there is never satisfaction. We all know this from experience. Have you ever been truly satisfied for more than a short period of time by giving in to a craving?

These people have billions of dollars, every toy available to man, and people yearning to bask in their presence. The only thing they don't have becomes what they want and that is more power and more control. I don't know if you have ever tasted any degree of control, but it does deliver a fairly intense dose of euphoria initially. Like anything that induces euphoria, the degree of stimulation wanes as the user's system adapts to the dose, and larger doses are sought.

If a human being managed to achieve absolute world domination, if he didn't already believe himself a god, he would desperately seek that status along with immortality. Throughout history, powerful people playing god tend to be quite cruel.

But I digress.

300 million people occupy the current "top nation", and those 300 million maintain quite a degree of liberty. Familiarity, however, breeds contempt. Recent generations are utterly unaware of what a lack of freedom feels like. People around the world are surrounded by death, disease, murder, and violence. Americans can't seem to get enough of it, so long as it's on the other side of the camera lenses.

For lack of unspeakable horrors in their immediate vicinity, Americans turn on the TV to get "informed" and entertained. There are entire genres of entertainment devoted to depicting the depths of human depravity in perversion and violence. There is an abundance of music that glorifies acts of perversion and violence, and promotes lifestyles of crime. It has been normalized in America to derive entertainment from depictions and descriptions of vile subject matter.

The very same companies that have systematically lowered the moral standards of Americans are the companies assuring you that they have your best interests in mind. The very same people who tell you everything that you don't have are the people telling you that they will give you what you want. They very same people who claim to be against the representative who would favor the ultra rich ARE the ultra rich. Does this not strike you as suspicious at all?

One of the greatest lies that everyone on earth has fallen for, often time and again, is this; "You will get away with it."

When a man's folly brings him to ruin, his heart will rage against God. We are all accountable for our own choices, and hating the One who holds you accountable will accomplish nothing. We all have a common enemy, and unfortunately, that enemy is the master of lies. Earnestly seek the truth and you will find it.

Fuck this shit. If there is a god his name is likely Frank and he probably created us by smashing particles together in an accelerator. That's right buddy, we were an accident. How can you be so daft as to believe in an all knowing and all powerful being when that being is obviously us.

Take your holier than thou attitude to a god fearing forum. This site is for people that are sick in other ways.

We just don't care.

We are human. I am fully aware that my knowledge and understanding is woefully inadequate to even grasp the limitless nature of God. I can't even fully comprehend the concept of an omniscient, omnipresent being with no beginning and no end.

The most published and best preserved document in history is based on over 200 ancient manuscripts dating back as far as AD 125. The next best ancient documentation we have is of Rome, and the earliest of those date to 900 years after the fall of Rome.

In that document, many amazing promises were made by a Man who said He is God. I have placed my faith in that Man and His promises because He never messed up even once. He is the example of perfect that we all fall so far short of. Some people hate Him for setting that example, I love Him because He gave His life to pay the penalty for my mistakes as an act of true love.

Presupposing, as I have, that God is perfect implies that He is incorruptible.

Indeed. One could argue that if God is perfect, then he wouldn't hate. Then again, one could also argue that "perfect" is an abstract concept and nothing can actually exist as such. For example, you may imagine a perfect circle, but once it's physically made, it will no longer be perfect. One could argue such things, if one were of a mind.

"The possibility that God doesn't like you" is a Pahlanhuik (sp?) quote. I always read it as a nod to an ambivalent God rather than a necessarily hostile one. I've always been facinated by those that think God must love (or hate, or feel some emotion toward) humanity. Everything I've seen leads me to believe that God really doesn't care about humanity. I don't mean this in a bad way. I don't think the act of not loving humanity means he wishes us ill. It just seems to me like we really don't matter to him. And why should we really? When you consider the scale he's on and the one we're on.

I would draw the analogy of starving Africans. Living a comforable live in the US, most Americans really don't care about starving Africans. We know they're there. We know they're starving. We certainly wish them no ill will, but at the same time, we're not really loosing any sleep over it. We just don't care.

So, you are talking about George Bush, right?

Hmmmmm. Bill Gates is trying to enslave me? Have to admit I'm having a hard time buying that one.

After all, there have always been the very rich, how is now any different?

"When a man's folly brings him to ruin, his heart will rage against God."

"Listen to me! You have to consider the possibility that God does not like you. He never wanted you. In all probability, he hates you. This is not the worst thing that can happen."

At any rate, I'm sure God has nothing to do with it, either way.
-------------------------------------

I'm generalizing the typical multi-billionaire. I know virtually nothing about Bill Gates as an individual. The ultra rich are those who run nations. In the past they were kings, now they are corporations.

Considering the possibility that God hates you would imply that their is hate in God. Presupposing, as I have, that God is perfect implies that He is incorruptible. Hate is a disease of the soul and therefore cannot touch Him.

I want to share something with you -- the three little sentences that will
get you through life. Number one, `Cover for me.' Number two, `Oh, good
idea, boss.' Number three, `It was like that when I got here.'
