I cannot believe what I read on Ubersite yesterday.
The person you all know as 'OathMeal' is a REAL person with a REAL job and REAL emotions.
Sure he may be an asshole and call you names but doesn't everyone around here do that? Did he really deserve to be the subject of your hacker-esque attempts at unearthing personal information about him?
What a sorry, sad lot of lonely losers you are.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Why?
Because YOU didn't have to be the armchair psychiatrist who walked him through his breakdown last night, over the phone, while he was screaming and crying about 'Jack McCallum's hate post' or 'HadToBeDone's childish bullshit' (actually he kept calling him 'FatToBeDone' for some reason).
YOU didn't have to calm him down and basically talk him off his ledge, reassuring him that he is in fact an intelligent, valuable human being.
YOU didn't have to hear him threaten to rip the tags off his twin mattress out of spite...
And YOU didn't have to be the one who received a paranoid, 4 am phone call about "Google Indexing" or whatever.
Because of all of you, I did not get laid last night.
You people don't know Oathy. You only know his internet persona, and to be so disrespectful and callous as to badmouth his good name is seriously inhuman.
I've spent most of the morning so far telling him that he just needs to take a break from this place, and he agrees. But he wants an apology from all of you, first.
