This is going to be a friendly game, so invoking Henton's Reprieve is only allowed after a bid greater than 20.
As a reminder - The Finchley Progression is only effective North to South, otherwise a Butler Surprise can no longer be called after the Yuengstown Dilemma.

Well somebody's not up on current events. There's a fee of 45 for leaving Benton Park after two or more players have become insolvent. The fee was tacked on as a rider to the Shanksbury Bailout Accord of 2008. I know it hasn't yet gained widespread approval yet, but it does apply in this situation. I, for one, welcome the new changes given that high level Mornington Cresent games are being increasingly driven by market speculation.

that edict is out of date and has been put into the errata because of the obvious transposition of the adjective in the fourth word of the edict. Which claims that "tho can not squatterly state a squat without the proper bid."
Squatterly is obviously not a word and one that was made up to suit Geoge Billowtop 3rd because of his obsessive charlatanism. Also, the rules in 1.2 are vague on what is an allowable bid and what is not.
