Merry Christmas!
I just heard a song over the radio about 15 minutes ago. It was a rendition of "O Holy Night" on a Christian Family Life Radio channel in my town. The singer added lyrics to the original song that you would not likely hear on a secular radio station.
The lyrics were beautiful in and of themselves, but the voice with which this woman sung them was the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my life. I don't know the musical terms to express the beauty and skill in her delivery of the Christmas classic.
I've never said "wow" out loud with such genuine feelings of deep appreciation and respect for her singing talents and abilities. I can't articulate how impressed I was.
I Googled the station as soon as I got home, and left a message at their office desperately hoping they will look up the singer for me and give me a call. The mystery singers CD would be a wonderful Christmas present for many people I know. If I can find her, it will be a very merry Christmas for me!
