I was serving soup at a homeless shelter when I had a thought... Dingle-berries, maybe I've been a little harsh to you nice Internet people... Maybe you people just want to be kind and share stories and pretty feelings and such, maybe we're all just a bunch of friends but don't know it yet... and to think I acted silly to you all... I quickly packed my bible and rushed home.
Gee-wiz, I said as I gave a sandwich to a hungry child outside, I really said some awful things and made some nice people very sad, but how do I make things right again? Hmmm, my mum always said, "Why, a problem is a chance to make new friends." And by golly, she was right.
You see, I'm sure we're not so different you and I, I'm sure we'd be bestest buddies if we were kids. Why, when I was just a little chap there wasn't much to do, sure like all young lads I had my own ant farm and a rubicks cube, and every Sunday we'd all dress up and go to mass. Why, I remember when old man Wilson used to give me lap rides and blew bubbles on my belly... oh, gosh, I'm going off the topic, well, I guess what I mean to say is maybe we all got off on the wrong foot.
Why, I remember when we all went apple picking and my good dog, Shallot got away... we looked for hours through the forest but found nothing. Then one day she came back but was very angry. My mum said Shallot was upset at all the evil in the world and had to go help angels. Why, I never saw my dog again, but I sure hope she's not angry any more.
I remember the first time I saw a chocolate man, why, we were picking cotton in a field and... Clinkers, I'm going off the topic once again... well, I guess what I mean to say is maybe we should all be nicer to each other. Why, just because we can't see each other doesn't mean we don't feel hurt. We're all nice people here, and pretty on the inside like a thermos... Good night Internet friends.
