It's only a matter of time until the sun goes down. Hiding inside can't help anyone, because that just means you can get trapped without room to escape. There can only be room to run.

Running is the only way for this idea of survival to work. Creating physical distance between us and them. Shooting at them will only bring more of them. Bigger, more angry, and violent. If the only thing we are doing is running, then they can't say that we are doing anything wrong. They can't arrest us if they can't catch us. We don't have to stop for them or respond to them. It isn't polite, but neither are we.

Always feeling tired is a small price to pay for freedom. Running is the only little escape from the rest of them. It is such a private thing, because you constantly decide the pace you set, pulling you away from every thing you have ever learned telling you to slow down. Eventually people stop noticing you. The more attentive will notice you running towards them, past them, then away from them, but they can never seem to make the connection between the actions and the cause.

Eventually how tired you are will catch up with you. It does with us all. There is no sleep, just a loss of consciousness. The halucinations set in and you start running past things, through things and away from things. You suddenly snap back into consciousness somewhere else, just to start running again. You lose control over where you are and where you're going.

You start moving so fast that everything else stops. Nobody sees you, and eventually you don't see them. People start to dissappear. Time no longer matters, and the hours in the day unravel before your eyes. There becomes a rift between your body and mind. You no longer know how to stop, and at this point, you wouldn't know what you would do if you did. You only know to keep running.

I've been thinking of taking up a regimen of jogging in the afternoons, but only when it gets slightly warmer, and only until it gets sweltering hot.

What the fuck are you talking about? If that was meant to be some kind of abstract poetry, well fuck man, you can't even write decently.

Too many people approach life on these terms. . .
