I was in the US Navy during the cold war, on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). The Russians practiced landing approaches onto the deck to see if we'd panic. They'd do low fly-by's with giant transport planes to see if we'd panic. We'd put Playboy and Hustler mags in trashbags and float them so the trailing Russian destroyers could pick them up.
We won the cold war with porn.
