the panic bear took his easy chair
before the day got through
wonderin' where the moral hair
of the world had gotten to.
he'd once made his mind, to make things right
then soon after, accepted his plight
as a panic bear, without a care
the opposed he would not fight.
sweat drips down his furry brow, as the honey stash grows thin
but in the chair, does the panic bear, sit back down again
"The sun comes back tomorrow, and if I still ain't done,
I'll put it off another day, and go have me some fun"
he'd once made his mind, to make things right
then soon after, accepted his plight
as a panic bear, without a care
the opposed he would not fight.
If the panic bear could draw his share, with his thoughts and mood,
It should be no surprise to you, that he'd color it in blue
Worries a thousand times ran circles in his panicked head
But down on his luck, and with his last 5 bucks, he'd get a drink instead.

The panic bear had a friend, but can't look eye to eye
He don't understand what's so grand 'bout givin' it a try
His friend would say: "save that bill for later, or some other rainy day"
But the panic bear, without a care, would shrug his shoulders and say:
"If I'm not here next time it rains, I don't want no regrets
So you can save your bills my friend but I can't have no moral debts"
With that the panic bear took his leave and waved
And wandered down his broken trail that was anything but paved
And so I say to you my friend on this cold and rainy day,
That the panic bear, without a care, is gone, considered saved.
