All the answers except one have been posted, either explicitly or by innuendo. Here's a hint for that last elusive riff:

Hailing from a country known for its gifted composers, the lead guitarist playing this riff is considered by many aficionados to be among the most gifted axemen ever--as well as an eccentric flake. The band itself achieved modest success in the 1970s, but faded into obscurity after their star guitarist quit to start his own band.

Now it should be easy. Make sure to include your uberboard message along with the COMPLETE answer and I'll get it put up, pronto.

This won't play for me, but I like the idea and the fingerquotes prize fingerquotes is funny.

When i was in my teens, a friend of mine used to make tapes with short intro's, and we did the same.
I still like the game, altough rock isn't my field of knowledge. I LOVED DISCO.STOOOOPID.

You can find blank cassette tapes underneath the floorboards of most Walmart women's bathroom stalls.

-------------------------------------

yeah, well everyone knows that. problem is i can't be within a thousand feet of a women's restroom after that whole cracker barrel incident with the fish.

The only one I could recognize from the 20 is number 7 being the theme song from Boy Meets World, but I'm also high on radon.

Number 15 is Hole - Plump

That's all I can add, disappointing lack of "grunge" riffs!
