Jack, it's called a mnaure storage lagoon and they do the same thing all through the states. I think most mexican farms actually use a synthetic cover, unlike the majority of the USA. At any rate, it is unlikely to be the source and if it was, it would be far more likely during th spreading process (when the manure is spread onto farmers fields as crop fertilizer). Basically though, that is jsut media stirring the pot, not a very likely theory.

I'm not sure if this was satirical or not, but at any rate I think the swine flu is being over hyped. As far as I have found only 18 people have been absolutely confirmed dead due to the swine flu, and in the cases that have cropped up in the US, no one has come close to dying. Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
