I think the D-bags ruined it.

nothing really happened.
at one point, Uber had a lot of traffic. the front page was crowded. there was drama, trolls, serious writers, pictures...all kinds of stuff.
now there's a lot less action. most boards (except places like 4chan) are increasingly deserted anyway. the format that they offer is already out of date.

there was a great big battle of ninjas and pirates, and all the serious writers left for some pulse website or something... might have been twitter... at any rate, all that's left are a few drooling monkeys, a hiccupping giant and this sweet freaking pin wheel that i've been playing with for a few hours now.
