There's a difference between being dependent on your family and wanting to be near them. I am a 34 hour drive away from my family, and I miss them but I loooove it here.

If I wasn't so "special" and could make photo montages I'd show more of the coast. I've lived in Oregon for 8 years and every time I go to the beach I take a load of photos..I never want to get used to the beauty.

I lived in a mud hut in Takilma that had windows that rolled up and down with handles because they were recycled windows from old cars....
AND
The World Peace And Music Festival {harvest ball} still rocks on near Ashland. This festival is held on private land and ....excuse me while I close my eyes and ruminate the experience.
The wolf sanctuary is nearby and there were wolves attending the festival and all the growers were there to show off their latest crops. Music was good too!

I like pretty places. Ever noticed whenever you go away and people see your photos they don't really care for the 'magnificent view' photos. They pay more attention to the ones where you're puking off the side of the deck.
