I found the man laying in a pool of blood in the pouring down rain.
A drug deal gone wrong? Probably, it wasn't the best part of town.
The bullet went from one armpit to the other. Probably a .45 by my guess.
He screamed "I feel like I'm going to die."
I held onto his wound, trying to keep him from bleeding out.
Bloody lung matter sprayed all over me.
He said all he wanted was to see a face before he died.
He died staring up at my face with rain falling in his eyes in a pool of blood.
He died without a name.
Fucked up aint it?

Side view X-Ray image of adult chest cavity. Armpits are just below clavicle and slightly toeward spone, in the clear area. What is the clear area? Lungs and heart. That guy didn't scream anything - he had two collapsed lungs and probably a perforated aorta.
