Michael Jackson. OK. The dude was very talented. No question about it. Revolutionized all kinds of things in music and the dancing n' stuff...

I mean We had a Jackson 5 song played to introduce the wedding party - Blame it on the sunshine is one of my most favouritest songs in the whole world.

BUT....Was I SAD at his passing? No.

In fact, at volleyball the other day I out into perspective the general feeling of loss I had for the king of pop.

We had gone to one of the local pubs. We decided to forgo the final game of the evening. That particular Thursday we had already played 2 hard fought matches that very evening and the third one felt like it was going to SUCK with the influx of some massive wind. It was brutal. So we decided to call it a draw and go for beers. The SHACK, as it was called, was apparently known for it's burgers. 5 out of the 6 of us were very excited to be ordering the burger... and when the server informed us that the burger was already sold out for the evening... I can honestly say >that< made me sadder than the actual death of Michael Joseph Jackson.

The dude was one fucked up white ass mother fucker brother

There are lots of interviews about him not having a childhood. .. and that he was abused. That has to be hard... but to combine that with supermegatasticstardom AND all-consuming performance schedule and complete removal from what most of us might consider as "normal"... it's not all that surprising that his Jacko fellow might have been operating in a different reality than the rest of us.

I don't ever think he grew up. He just didn't seem to be the kind of person to do something that would hurt a child - or in any way damage them... (but if he did? KARMA.)

Truthfully, I think the world lost Michael Jackson years ago.

We have been dealing with a crazed hacked-up self destructive version of one for about 15 years now.

I think its best that he died. It kind of works to save the legacy brought on by a child that never grew up.

Neverland died.

It was prognosticationally spectacular.

And now he's dead and all we can do is speculate. Personally, I think he was fucked... and most certainly flawed... but the world can now celebrate the life of one extraordinary performer instead of cringe at the latest absurd ripple he made in popular culture as he slowly deteriorated into insane and re-fabricated obscurity.

His best days we likely pre-2000. Some might argue pre 1990.

Most people would probably agree that he wasn't ever going to do anything more than tarnish his own (incredible) stature if he continued living.

The fact he died: was good. God rest his soul. I'm sure his kids will now lead a more normal life and will only occasionally bothered by TMZ scumographers for that all important update on what they had for lunch or whether they look like him yet.

SO yeah, god bless his soul. The world will miss Michael Jackson... but it's a better place now that he is gone.

My deepest sympathies for family and friends at the loss of his passing.

Good night.

r.

Oh, and by the way - "something like this" will never happen to me. We are talking about Michael Jackson you complete and utter dipshit.

No one has ever been "like him" - heck no one has even a similar story or circumstances than Michael Jackson and his fucked up, very public, horribly tragic, ridiculously successful, surreal life.

I doubt you would even be missed much when you die. Which will likely be alone and angry in some forgotten corner of the cheapest old folks home you could barely afford.

But you can look back at how much fun you had being a miserable cantankerous fuckwit on the internets and rock yourself to sleep thinking about all those times you burned some nerd online.

Well no2,

First, I'm glad that this post has resonated so deeply in your blackened troll soul that you felt the urge to dig it up and get those important internet jabs in that you crave so intently.

Second - no, I didn't watch that - but of course she is sad. Losing your father would be devastating for a child - especially on that has grown up in an environment where her own mother doesn't want her calling her "mom" and essentially sold her and her older brother to her father.

I do think its cute you care so much for paris, her brother prince and her other brother blanket.

Now, are these three children ultimately going to be better off now that they don't have that train-wreck of a father in their lives?

I think so.

Are they better off now that they never have to find out first hand if all the allegations of child molestation are actually true?

I think so.

Of course they are going to be sad. Of course they are going to miss their dad. You are an idiot if you think I don't know that.

Michael Jackson had many good qualities - and millions of adoring fans all around the world. He will be missed by many - but his legacy is tainted.

I'm sure all 4 people following along are really impressed with your tenacity on this particular subject.

Did you happen to catch the highlights on the news of Paris, crying and talking about losing the best Dad in the world? Three young children without their father.

But hey, "it's best that he died", isn't it Robert?

If something ever happens to you, I'll be sure to fly out to Vancouver to let your daughter know it's best tthat you died, before you had a chance to say anything else stupid. Fucking douche.

You people are missing the broader conspiracry here. No one will believe it until Dan Brown writes a book about this shit. You see, the Catholic Church had Michael Jackson killed.

Why?

Those priests don't like competition.

And really - when am I ever hateful or miserable?

If anything I am cordial and nice. Welcoming, even.

Sure I can be obnoxious and contrary, argumentative and more than a little verbose. Self centered - sure. Arrogant? Absolutely... but thats only because I'm significantly better than people like you.

I'm sure I annoy all kinds of people - but hateful? Miserable?

nah... I don't get that one. Maybe occasionally - but only on special occasions and if it's deserverd.

Still, if I am it's coming from rob berg... which is my name and I stand by everything I have typed into these text boxes and submitted to this site.

The idea of anonymously camping out on someones post, saying horrible things about the person, their family and speculating on all the nasty things that come to mind just doesn't register as fun to me... but you love it.

What kind of person does that make you?

I think my reasoning is quite sound No2.

Based on what I have been exposed to in the very public life of Michael Jackson - that not only did his death did not make me very sad - BUT - given his specific circumstances it was more of a good thing than a bad one. This doesn't take away from the tragedy of the bad. His family, friends and fans will never agree with me - and they don't have to. Neither do you

================================================

He was on the verge of embarking on a tour to put the finances in order, and had he lived to complete that, his children at least have a solid financial footing, if not a father. As it is, they are now fatherless and impoverished. But that's a good thing according to Robbie Berg, sadistic, unempathetic fuckstain extrodinaire. Maybe it would be a good thing if you dropped dead, while your baby girl may not have a father, that might be better than being raised by a sanctimonious, arrogant, selfish, ignorant, boring and uneducated fuck up of a father like you. Let's face it, she's already doomed to be fat and ugly, but she might not be quite as unpopular if she at least doesn't learn her social behaviour from you and she might actually get a real job before 30 if she isn't subjected to your work ethic.

I love how you condemn people like caulaincourt for acting like miserable, hateful assholes behind a fake moniker even while you act like one all the time and admit it's "the real you".

In shrot, STFU tool.

As I said, I am happy with my judgment - you may not agree with it and that is fine - but to call me a hypocrite for having that opinion is just stupid.

It's done neither maliciously nor as an attempt to be mean or hurtful. I wouldn't anonymously rub Janet's nose in it given the opportunity - nor would I remind Tito about his brother's death every time we had an e-spat.

You may agree with Caulaincourt in the notion that the world would be better off if I was dead. You are more than welcome to hold that near and dear to your heart. The overwhelming majority of people in my life hold the opposite opinion so I'd be lying if I said it really bothered me all that much.

Sorry pal.

No2.

As I said - you can construe whatever you wish from my opinions. Regardless of the truth they will seem hypocritical to you.

You can colorfully recreate my image any way you want in your mind. You obviously get a great deal of satisfaction out of it. I play team sports, am married to my hot wife and have produced a ridiculously cute baby girl. Your fantasies about me are hardly accurate.

When I posted that Memorial - it was just an honest extension of the grief I was feeling at the time. How people use that information is up to them - the vast majority of people offered sympathy and support - something you might be incapable of, or hold in contempt for some reason. It was appreciated and I am thankful that I had such an outlet at the time. Even now as it is used in such a negative way, I am reminded of how much it meant to me to have something like that available to me at such a sad time.

This is an anonymous website if you so choose it to be - and you can snipe behind the guise of obscurity all you want. My point has always been that REAL people are powering these pointless discussions. You people think these horrible little thoughts and arrange the necessary words in the desired order to convey them.

It's all karma, fellas.

I am very happy with what I have thrown out into the universe.

rob has always been a huge hypocrite.

i remember when he was preaching about changing the world and wishing peace in the world and tolerance, like a beauty pageant contestant. then 5 minutes later, puffing his chest with pride over our [nonexistant] differences with yanks or bashing french-canucks, displaying the most primary form of collectivism.

just an example among many.

====================================================

Oh, but it absolutely is hypocritical as I clearly pointed out my fat, lazy-eyed friend.

-------------------------------------------------
My opinion is that in consideration of my personal knowledge, however limited that may be, the death of Michael Jackson is probably a good thing.
=======================================

So you consider your opinion on whether people you don't even know should live or die basically worthwhile for public contemplation and consumption. But no one else should do that. For instance, Caulaincourt could point out that given your brother was probably a lot like you, and you turned out to be a fat, lazy, pretensious, hypocritical, internet obsessed douchebag, it was probably a good thing he died before he had a chance to become like that. But that would be wrong, woudln't it? Only robbie berg is qualified to make judements on the worhtiness of peoples right to live based purely on conjecture.

--------------------------------------------------------
I made some good points up there, used some fancy words and absolutely expected the negative responses that would come from people just like you. I still went ahead and churned them because I felt like saying them.
====================================

Good points? Fancy words? Literary diarhea is more like it. But you keep on churning them out, like that time you churned out a bunch of crap two hours before the funeral because the thing most on your mind was e-popularity on ubersite, regardless of the mockery that would be made. Way to shit all over your brothers memory.

That's all I'm saying on it, because I don't like talking about your deceased brother. But you are a complete hypocrite and a douche of epic proportions.

"Good", is a highly subjective word, and the inadequacy of simple words to convey the massive complexity of the human experience is well documented.

Keep it up LaBubba - you are putting on a great show here.

and wtf are you talking about...value of stocks? on a website?

i know we see others through a prism of our own perceptions, but you need to stop assuming everyone here is deeply involved with this website like you are.

it's not my intent to be "funny" or "create drama". i leave comments when i feel like responding. that's it. there's no objective at the end of the day...like gaining value, lolol

it's obvious that this place is lke WoW to you. you gain experience points when you e-rim somebody's e-anus.

you are one sad fuck, rob

clearly you researched this A LOT, you fucking loser...lol

by highly documented, you mean you spend your weekends reading tabloids and watching E!, right?

well if those are reliable sources to you, i guess we can conclude, based on your ubersite appearances that your child would better off if you died since you're such a retard on here. that's the rob berg logic.

"and when the server informed us that the burger was already sold out for the evening... I can honestly say >that< made me sadder than the actual death of Michael Joseph Jackson"

I don't doubt that. That would make you sadder then just about anything, Tubby McLardass.

Hard fought volleyball matches, lol. I can only imagine what a "hard fought match" is for a fat lazy second rate graphic artist. Did you actually have to move your feet?

Let's see,

You leverage my brother's death as an inexplicable source of entertainment in your boring life.

The loss of my brother doesn't invalidate my opinion on death.

I post an opinion on the recent death of a highly documented, publicly deteriorating, self mutilating, mentally unstable, morally questionable, bankrupt mega star... and postulate on how his death, while tragic, was probably for the best.

Granted - it's a callous and unexpected position to take, especially considering the tendency for people in our society to forgive the dead their past indiscretions and let the memories of all the good they accomplished in their lives dominate the bad but I think my points are valid.

Still, I guess you would find some kind of irony there - it's good for ratings, huh? lets face it your stock around here has dropped considerably and the quality of drama you produce lately is just not up to usual standards. Keep scraping though, laBubba.

i entered your word in webster and hyperdictionary, it doesn't exist.
even google only spits out 3-4 entries.

anyway...it wasn't my point.

it's just funny to see you cry when people from a distance mock your brother's death which you proudly paraded, then doing a 180 and declare that some person which you only know through tabloids is better dead.

ironic, like you'd say.

Sure it does. In fact, its a great word and perfectly used.

People who are wrong about the improper misuse of adverbs look... well, like Bubba.

Although lately even he's been funnier than you.

except for his late shitty songs, i always thought jackson never failed to deliver the funk. the music he wrote is catchy as hell.

now whether he raped children or had nose surgery or even died is the least of my concerns. all i know about jackson is what comes out of the radio.

the rest doesn't mean anything but obviously you're the type of person who thinks he knows celebrities. you even think you're fit to say that the guy's death is a good thing. i bet you had a lot of opinions about paris hilton going to jail.

with such a dumbass brother, it's good thing James Berg died.

I wasn't really a Jacko fan, as he was a bit before my time, but as far as icon status goes there isn't really anyone left who fits that bill. You know the John Lennons and Princess Di's, people who people love fanatically. So that is a little sad in a way.

Personally I love dead celebrities, there really is no celebrity like a dead one, the jokes, the crazy stories about "how they really were" and the fruitcakes that crawl from the woodwork. Anyway this was well thought out so I hope the responses you got were worth it.

Rob loved your music, wacko Jacko!

But he's still fine with you being dead, you lecherous little boy toucher.

I give it around 6 months-a year until there are all sorts of "biographies" and "behind the scenes" books going around written by the sort of people he had working for and around him.

Even if he had paid everyone there very well to turn a blind eye, and even if he was a saint(DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!), and treated all of his employees perfectly, there'll still be someone there to capitalize on his death, and they'll get away with it.

I can't say that I blame them, I'd be looking for a new job too.

And 10 years from now? 10 years, we'll be listening in on our children's music and hear familiar songs, and quite possibly, someone who was once named "Blanket" singing them.
