Part two: http://www.ubersite.com/m/122533

Here is part three that I submit to you, the pulsating, unisex, gelatinous mass of human tissue that is Ubersite. I mean that in a good way. Yeah. Anyhoooooo, this was written with intense sleep deprivation so it may be bull plop...BULL PLOP!

Thanks for the reviews. Be honest, it helps.

"You'll need a job if you're to live here with us Liz" her mother said sternly as she carelessly put a bowl of porridge down in front of her. Elizabeth just stared at the food and pondered, not really listening to the expected tirade from her mother, her mother the meanest most spiteful woman Elizabeth had ever known. Ever since she was a young girl she knew her mother didn't love her, it never confused her until she had her Emily and wondered how a mother could be so callous to her own baby girl. Elizabeth's father sat in corner smoking woodbine and looking on at the interaction, she knew he was on her side. He never confronted her mother directly until she got out of line, and out of line is right where she was headed.

She drew her hand back and was about to bring it down to Elizabeth's surprisingly unblemished face. Elizabeth's father in a flash had grabbed her arm in mid flight "That's enough Maggy"; he had incredible authority in his voice "can you not see that she is in enough pain without your consistent derision?" his eloquence betraying his once high social status and how far the family had fallen. Maggy fell silent and with a well practiced look of submission assumed her seat at the table "Yes husband". He sat and considered his only progeny. Elizabeth for the first time speaking since her arrival "Father, please let me stay here I..." she covered her face and cried her shoulders hunched and shaking with the strength of her grief. Her father stood, moved round the table and placed his large rough hand on Elizabeth's shoulder and without looking at her, instead looking at his wife with veiled threat, spoke "You shall stay as long as you need, your mother will care for you".

Elizabeth laid staring at the ceiling; the sound of the sea and rigging from the tall ships creaking on the wind. Time passed slowly in this waking slumber she found herself in; not been able to sleep much at all since the news of...of...she could not bear to remember too much of him, afraid that memory may break the dam she has pushed her emotions behind. So here she was, staring at the ceiling she remembers from childhood wringing her hands in a nervous habit. She doesn't know when that started. Flashes of her childhood flit across her consciousness: playing with other well-to-do children, a lovely new summer frock - it was white, elequition lessons, her mother smiling at her with love in her eyes...
"Liz!" She started, her glance shooting to the source of the hushed words "daughter, we need to talk". Her father moved toward her and sat down near her "here, take this, it is coin. It should take you anywhere you want to go with enough left over to start again". Elizabeth looked at the bag in her father's paw, her mouth agape "this is all you have in the world father!"
"I know that! Now here, take it" he took her hand and forcefully gave her the purse of money "now get dressed proper and get going. Don't let your mother hear you."

Without thinking and being caught in the moment she followed her father's instruction. Now at the front door to their home and the starry cold English night beckoning to her, Elizabeth turned to face her father with her baby in her arms fast asleep and she stared into his eyes. No words were exchanged, just a hug and some tears left on each other's shoulders.

She turned and started walking toward the centre of the town.

I'm interested enough to want to know what happens if another episode arrives but not enough to actually really need or want another installment, if that makes any sense.

I dont know it just seems to not be going anywhere all that interesting rather slowly.

When does she turn to prostitution?

Good morning, fellow employee. You'll notice that I am now a model
