Tragic news was reported across the world today as it was confirmed that the letter 'H' died this morning at 4.17 am.
One of the world's favourite letters, H, was the beginning of Hitler and the end of numerous biblical words such as sayeth, abideth and prayeth. There is no word on a replacement yet, nor is there any news on whether we will be allowed to keep words that currently contain the letter.
"I loved H like a brother, you know? We were real close and sad to see him go." said less popular letter J. His immediate family, G and I were unavailable for comment.
It's unclear how the world community will move on from such a shattering blow to friendship, language and communication, but what we do know is that H would have wanted us to be strong. However, world leaders have questioned the real impact of the death.
"We all know the saying 'United we stand, without H we fall', commented Kim Jong Il.
The death is not being treated as supsicious.

There's a fairly big wreath of flowers in Warwick, up the road from where i am now, in the shape of a "H" just on the side of the road. We often joke that it's from a Heroin overdose.
