Dear cubic wonder,
I write you to call you out as the bigot that you are
In this age of advancement you are a constant reminder of a day when stereotypes and segregation reigned supreme
Oh, Rubix Cube
Or shall I call you Racist Cube?
Why is it that you insist all the colors stick to themselves?
Forming cliques like Crips
Integration is essential and yet you preach segregation like a Confederate soldier
With your orange and blue stickers which seem as if they might look more appropriate on the General Lee
And your yellow stickers, which always manage to have difficulty navigating the cube
And your white stickers, so plain and vanilla
Seemingly serving no purpose and yet they always manage to find their way in and ruin a perfectly good gathering
And your red stickers which appear to be more interested in finding new and creative ways to gauge the pockets of gambling addicts than falling in line
And of course it's no accident that there is no black sticker
This could only be a deliberate slight by the man
After all how many decades did it take to get Black Barbie?
I mean even the Hulk has his own sticker
But when the decals get tired and decide they no longer want to work
I'll leave you to guess what shade lies beneath
And in case you're wondering no, I didn't really say that
It's just your imagination
Oh Rubix cube, as a child I was enamored of your secrets
But now I see you as you truly are
A square toy in a round world
Archaic
Stagnant
Obsolete
And much like a cockroach you'll probably be around forever
