Give your image a short name with no spaces or funny characters, and the extension .jpg, .jpeg, .gif or .png.
Put it right in the C:\ root directory.
E.g.:
C:\Pic.png
Attach it, write your message, don't preview, and hook it up.
Don't rush anything, let things load properly, and don't double click where a single click is required.
It should work.
If it doesn't, just throw your computer out the window.
If, after all this, you post us a stupid, pointless picture, throw yourself out the window.
