I drop kicked my cellphone and i need another one. Even though I think cell phones are the work of the devil. Don't give me all that bullshit about bringing people closer together and convenient, i don't care. Their evil.
oh yeah, the service plan is what gets you in the end. Thats how they make money. The phones are free almost everywhere, but then you sign your firstborn, soul, wife/husband, away to pay for it.

Dude, it is this price when you buy it with a service plan. It is usually a TWO year commitment. Cell phone companies have been doing this since they first went into business. What most people don't know is that if you sign up for a service plan, but buy the phone at full price, your plan will be substantially discounted.
When you let them give you a free phone, the plan rates are hiked up so they can recoup the cost of the phone and then some. Over a two-year span, they can recoup nearly 200% of price of the phone. They are not desperate, they are just playing off of the word "FREE".

First of all, why are you looking for such a shitty phone? Second, the service plan is probably like $100 a month per phone with limited minutes and roaming charges. Nobody gives out a cell phone for 1 cent without strings attached, dipshit.
