In a cave upon the highest hill
The drunken hermit stands looking down
He grabs his moonshine to drink his fill
Wearing nothing, save a frown
At another time, in another life
He was quite far from alone
He had two kids, a loving wife
And a dog chewing on a bone
His life was perfect, not a thing he lacked
He had everything you see
Then one day his family was wacked
Not even the dog could flee
He was filled with the grief of a hundred men
So he shunned the life he once celebrated
He went to a cave to live in zen
But soon became intoxicated
So it is here I end this tale
Of lonely, drunken sadness
And I ask that you forgive this male
Of his anger and his madness.
