Woman causes 24 car pile up to keep sofa dry
A woman who didn't want the rain to ruin the sofa in the back of her truck caused 24 vehicles to wreck behind her Sunday on Interstate 20 as she swerved to get under an overpass, a police spokesman said.
She changed lanes so rapidly that she cut off cars as she made her way to the shoulder of the road to get under the overpass, White said.
"She cut off two vehicles initially, right away, and that caused those two vehicles to collide with each other," White said. "We had a total of 24 vehicles at the end of it."
No word if the sofa was stained.
Man on trial uses small penis defense
The 47-year-old locksmith from Bangor is accused of exposing himself to a client on June 12, 2002, while making a house call in Bethlehem. Peters' trial began Monday.
The victim testified that she and Peters were sipping tea after he finished installing a deadbolt lock when she saw Peters' semi-erect penis sticking three inches past the bottom of his shorts.
That's impossible, according to defense attorney Gary Asteak.
"She's mistaken," Asteak said. "He's not that big."
According to Asteak, physician Eric Schoeppner examined Peters and found his penis is only 1 inches long when flaccid and four inches erect.
Asteak said he will show the jury photographs to prove his point. Before the trial, he told Northampton County Judge Edward G. Smith he plans to ask Peters to drop his pants and pose for the jury wearing jockey shorts.
China erects the world's largest condom on a condom-inium.
A bright yellow condom covered the facade of a 20-story, phallic-shaped hotel in the southern Chinese city of Guilin to mark U.N. World Population Day in the most populous nation on the globe.
The Guilin Latex Company has applied to the publishers of the Guinness Book of World Records to recognize their giant condom, 80 meters (260 ft) tall and nearly 100 meters (330 ft) around, as the world's biggest, the Xinhua news agency said.
Isn't this a little ironic? The Chinese have the largest condom

Yep, pretty lame. Don't worry, you'll do better next time, right? Right? RIGHT? I thought so.
I have to know, though, How many people were injured/killed in the 24 car pile up? That's the only intersting part in car wreck stories and it was completely left out.
