Noticing the plethora of ghost stories today (actually, I've only seen 2), I've decided to add my own.

A few years back, I was driving through the country roads that lead to my house. The roads wind through mostly rural with the occasional cluster of houses. It was an overcast fall afternoon, about the middle of October, and I was returning home from school. As I rounded a corner, I saw 5 dogs in the middle of the street. They didn't quite seem like normal dogs, but I couldn't put my finger on what made them seem off. I slowed down and was forced to come to a stop as the dogs wouldn't move. I honked my horn a few times, and the dogs slowly got up and shuffled out of my way. When all of them had moved, I accelerated on by and after I passed them, I looked into my rearview mirror. No sign of the dogs. I checked the side view mirrors with the same result. There was open space to the left and right of the road with chain-link fences a few yards further. The road extended to far behind me for the dogs to have rounded the corner back there. They just disappeared. They could not have gotten through the fence that quickly, at least not all 5 of them, and they certainly didn't appear to be motivated enough to move faster than a slow amble. I slowed to a stop and turned my head all the way around. The dogs were no where to be found. I was certainly confused, but I continued on home and forgot about the incident.

A few weeks later, I was again on the road home. Like before, it was an overcast day. I rounded the same corner, and there were the same 5 dogs sitting in the middle of the road. This time, however, I was in possession of a camera. I would not let this moment pass. I slowed to a stop, and quickly removed the camera from its case. I took several pictures. I then passed them the same way I had done before, and they disappeared the same way. However, I had proof this time. I rushed to get the pictures developed. Sure enough, the picture revealed these 5 dogs as the ghosts they truly were. I now give you, the first proof of ghosts. Here are the 5 ghost dogs.
