Why I did this instead of going to bed is beyond me...
Bart, I took your map idea:
http://www.ubersite.com/cgi-bin/message_get.cgi?message=1066803555174318814
and expanded a little. Basically I used the same tools as you did.
Instead of putting a dot on the map where every uberuser was, I put a dot on the map for every
possbible zipcode. Here is the result.
Now if you could just superimpose all of the uberuses on top of this map, that would be
cool.

The everglades is the only place in the world where American Crocodiles and Alligators coexist. I have an awesome picture of an alligator eating this little bird from one of my school trips.

The everglades are on the very tip of the state.

I think that white speck in Florida is the Everglades. They must not include pirates, fugitives, and crocodiles in the population demographics.
Are they crocodiles or alligators?
Hmmm they call it gaitor-aid not crock-aid so I'm thinking they may be alligators. Now I don't know the difference and really feel like I should. Damn uber, now I have to go google that.

Personally, I like the West better. Fewer people and a better climate, in my opinion. They don't have much water out there so a large population would probably be difficult. Also lots and lots of mountains which doesn't lend itself to big cities. Also the land there is very, very, very fertile and often flat, which lends itself to farming, not cities.

And what are those dots way out in the south pacific?
Are those weird US territories that I am not aware of? military bases?

Its kind of mad because the east side is all but full and the left side is half empty... Do they smell or something over there?

I am sort of curious what that huge white slice is in southern florida.
Is that the everglades? Maybe alligators just eat the people when they try
to build new post-offices down there.

I used this zipcode data file to create the map:

This makes me want to move to an area of the country with fewer dots, well that and the traffic on the freeway.

Um I cant find my town in the clusterfuck of dots in the NE Region.
But my address is:
1384 Schindler Dr
South Plainfield NJ 07080
Thatll help you at least a little.
Your one person closer to having a compiled list of where everyones located.

Holy crap, I can't believe the almighty jeano finally posted something!
Did you use the same zip code data from http://www.cryptnet.net/fsp/zipdy/ or did you get the data from someplace else?
