I'm not keeping him banned, I'm just trying to demonstrate a little bit of negative reinforcement into the feedback loop.
And for the record, I can't "ban" anybody. By its nature, ubersite is an open area and should remain that way. The only thing I can do is firewall an IP address. There are some very legitimate reasons to do this, the main one being flood spammers. There is a whole area of research around things like RBLs and Bayesian filtering which, while I don't really know what they are, are supposed to reduce the number of emails you get for viagra and donkey porn.
Anyway, I'll probably take the firewall rule off one of these days.

In all honesty, I have no personal opinion of him other than I think he isn't generally very funny. The future of uber post was enjoyable, but posting links to it on fifty other posts was not.
