As I drove to work today soot and ash were raining down on my car. After clocking out, there were nice little piles of it here and there in the parking lot. Today was bad, as I mentioned in another post, one couldn't even see the sun. The sky turned a muddy grey-ish brown color and the air is warm and thick with smoke and haze. Fallbrook has only seen a little bit of the fire and it's destruction, but we're certainly feeling the effects of it as each day goes on.
I took this picture yesterday at sunset out my window. I wish the color had come out some more... the sun was a brilliant blood red set against this grey sky.
At any rate, I'll be glad when all of this has passed, it's beginning to feel like the smell of smoke and dust and soot is going to be a permanent part of my hair and wardrobe.

um take the batteries back out of your vibrator and put them back in the camera???? Nah only joking. Look forward to seeing the pic's

I shall do so after I can have a proper exorcism performed on the camera. Demons are the only logical explanation as to why it isn't working.

ive got pics too. i can see from vista out to encinitas and escondido from here, usually. now i cant see out of my yard because there is too much smoke. what pictures i do have, quite honestly, disturb me.
