Malls and the Organ Store? (270 hits)

In keeping with the "Shit Post Thursday" theme, something has occurred to me.
I was in a mall the other day, and I noticed that the cheesy MIDI sounding organ stores are gone!
When I was a kid I always remember walking through the mall and watching the over polished older gentleman, who in hindsight must have been ready to off himself, playing the organ over the samba, tango, and various other canned MIDI tracks.
Even though highly annoying, I kind of miss that. I never remember any customers in the stores, just the one sales guy rocking out, and a whole store filled with organs you Grandmother had in the room you weren't allowed in as a kid.

I read a book on midi recording one noght while i was on speed. The only thing I retained from it was the meaning of MIDI, which is musical instrument digital interface. It's fun to act like I know what's going on sometimes. hehehe, No, i am joking. I retained a little more than that. If I had an organ, i would probably have sex more...........
