Is it completely necessary to declare to the rest of uber that one is writing his or her first post? Is that some kind of uberetiquette that I'm unaware of?

Actually, Jackass. If you've read anyone's first post, where they said, "this is my first post" they caught loads of completely merited shit for being so annoying. If there were an ettiquette rule regarding this, it would be "Attempt to write something good, always; whether its your first or your last". This is a waste of time and im entertaining the idea of giving it three separate -2's. Heres the first.
