Im really sorry to do this but i needed an attention grabbing subject cause im looking for serious no bullshit input on a project of mine.
From what i have seen here its pretty apprarent that you ubers can be a tad... critical... of peoples websites. But then again i really dont blame you as most of them suck a pretty fair ammount dick.
THIS HOWEVER IS DIFFERENT... i hope...
this site is moderately serious, and i have been doing it for a while... but recently not many people have been going to the site... probobly cause i havent updated in months, but also because im running short of ideas to keep them comming back. Last time i reset my hit counter (3 months ago) i had several throusand hits in just one month... now 3 have gone by and i am just over 1000, so what i want are ideas that kind of on par with what im doing already with the site.
ALSO... if you like what you see i really want some submissions. Im practically begging for them cause i cant keep the content on my site fresh by myself... there is too much ground to cover. so if you feel like it submit something...
or...
You could just -2 this and say i suck... whatever floats your boat... but all constructive criticism is appreciated cause im TRYING to be somewhat serious in getting a decent site started, maybe if i get good positive feed back ill move it off free servers and make a real site and register a real domain... i dont know. but for now, do your uber thing...

here's your constructive criticism:
1 - fix the headings so they describe where i'm headed
2 - images were slow loading for me on a 1+ mb/s connection. site bandwidth or pic size? i dont know, but you should try and fix it.
3 - looks are everything. it should be wayyy more user friendly looking, but still not yahoo-style cutsie. the feel should reflect your subject matter, of course, and i dont get 'emo' from this.
4 - Layout?! on your page (emo, i believe it is) with the reviews, theyre just slapped in a list. put some damn organization into it man. don't stack album reviews on top of show reviews, make separate pages with in text links or something.
5 - On the "you" page, LunAtics is spelled wrong. in the header. cmon.
6 - same page, take the link to maddox out. nothing to do with anything, and how trendy? you finished bashing the mtv kids on the front page, then fall into internet trends yourself...
thats all i really have to say. nice work though man, keep it up :)
(on a sidenote, i have a problem with everyone ranting on emo and other types of music. i think people should just listen to what they want. whatever floats your boat. LABELS like 'hey i'm a cool emo kid,' which by the way is the vibe i was feeling from your site, are so stupid. be yourself. and i do like emo alot, along with a bunch of other stuff. no labels. </RANT> )

i use dial up myself hidden...and i actually had planned on making those images smaller.
the links to different pages are named with obscure names just because i wanted to avoid being to normal on it. i find the regular titles are a bit boring but perhaps its just me.
the shit probobly is 95% lame which is why im looking for serious submissions... if you got em send em.
emo is bullshit, the the carebear image is a joke... granted its kind of an inside joke, but i made t shirts with that on it as a bust on some stupid kid who went to a local show once. it was just something that my friends could see and get a kick out of when they came to the site.

i went to your site and the first impression i got was a fuckin pop up. so i clicked the back key on the browser and it stalled. i dumped the window let another of your pop ups come up, then got another window back to uber, to find your post and write right here that pop ups suck.

read up a little on what makes a website user friendly. just search google for tips.
also take note of how bart does things around here. you have the side menu for easy browsing and no confusion. then at the top, there are important links, such as "About Us" and "Contact." that's a good place to put info that you want people to see. also, have some type of graphic with the name of the site and put it on every page so that the user will get it stuck in their head. keep that image small in size (as in kilobytes, not viewing size). also, keep all of your other images small for quick loading times and less wasted bandwidth. remember, some people still use dial-up.

I really am trying to be construcive here, so don't get your feelings hurt.
From what I looked at, it is 95% lame.
The organization statement is way true. There is no direction. It looks like a bunch of stuff thrown together into separate pages just for the sake of making links.
Figure out what you want the site to be about and make it clear on the first page.
Some of the content was decent, but I had to look for it.
Also it LOOKS boring. You need to change the overall apperance. It's basically a BLOG right now.
+2 for trying

+2 for me for restraining myself from attacking you on the whole EMO thing.....don't get me started.

i would also like to add... in a very off topic kind of way that i just ate an entire box... yes, and entire box of taquitos. all 25, which i think is some sort of world record. granted i am positive that when it all hits my digestive system, im going to get sick and throw up... but for now im going to revel in this accomplishment...

im kidding, yeah i didnt figure most people here would be my target demographic. im kinda shooting for kids who are down with the local music and the indy scene, so i can understand how its not really something you are likely to check out... but thanks for even giving enough of a shit to check it out and give me some input.

Ya, I'll agree with hidden on this one. I clicked the heading buttons but had no idea what they meant or where they were taking me. Also, a one or two line intro would be good to tell me what the site was all about.
