http://www.rense.com/general43/superfat.htm

I was reading this the other day, and I found it pretty disturbing. What is happening to North America? Is there anything that we can do to reverse the current trend of sitting in front of the television and eating Dorito's? I myself are guilty of such things, but I also try to get in atleast a sporatic workout regiment. That makes up a little ground, but most people don't do anything like that I don't think. Atleast they don't keep it up throughout their lives. So what is to blame? I don't have any idea, do you?
One thing I know for sure, is we have to get the kids of today out from in front of their Gamecube's and onto a bike or in sports. Sports are the key. I was no jock, as a matter of fact I am was a geek when it got right down to it most of my life. The key was, I still played soccer and paintball and I swam during the summer. I think what we need to do is show kids how much fun sports can be. I know where I grew up (shitty small town) there was the old thing where the same kids were on all the sports team since elementary school because the coaches wanted to win and didn't want to waste time on any kids that didn't seem to excell right away. That's why I besides soccer in high school I didn't play any school sponsored sports. From limited experience, this is what is seems to be like in a lot of places.
It could also be that so many people are working longer and longer hours, and therefore can't afford the time or energy to work out. I've been there. It's even worse if you have an office job.
Blah, I'm just rambling now. But does anyone else find the state of obesity in our society disturbing?

I'm very active. Every weekend I'm at the park or school playing basketball and I see tons of kids riding skateboards, playing soccer, football, baseball, you name it.

If there's a lot of obese kids out there I don't see them.

In fact, the only time I see people that are really out of shape is at work. There's no excuse for it, and it's a travesty that any parent would let their kids get fat and lazy. That's not love, that's called being a lazy parent.

I'm not saying every guy has to be an adonis and all the ladies have to have a tight butt and rock hard abs but people have to realize that their bodies are what keeps them alive and if you don't treat your body well you'll live a miserable and shortened life.

Ah, who cares? If my kids are fat, I'll help them to get in shape. If they're not, then cool. If other people's kids are fucking fat, then that's their problem. I agree that people should try to be healthy, but I am not going to tell them what to do or how to look. What's funny is that I am sure the topics of teen obesity and teen anorexia have been featured on oprah in the same week. Anorexia blames society and its' standards for beauty, obesity blames society and its' ability to keep kids from exercising or eating healthy.

It's all a ploy to take the blame off the shoulders of the parents, who are at fault for raising fat and/or weak minded pussy liberal kids.

It's easy enough with a cunt hair's width worth of self control. I myself lost 110lbs. of ass at the ripe age of 18 upon exiting an all male high school, and entering a co-ed college. Upon realizing that I was a fat ass because I'd never had the opportunity to be in a classroom setting with a chica (where the groundwork for so many lays since has occurred), I can easily state that you can, should, and have no fucking reason not to lose weight, that goes for anyone. It took me eight months with diet and exercize to drop the weight.

110 pounds in 32 weeks? Talk about unhealthy. Your suppose to lose about a pound a week.

This post was pretty much a waste of time.

The state of obesity is disturbing, but so is:

the average aptitude of a high school graduate
the number of people who don't vote
the number of acts of random violence
the homicide rate
the teen mortality rate
the fact that the government holds me accountable if a USPS mail truck hits my parked car
the fact that more soldiers have died in Iraq now than before the war
the fact that it would be worse for everybody if we just leave Iraq anyway
the fact that I've wasted five minutes typing these things

Maybe everyone really IS lazy... maybe that's harsh. I don't know. It just bothers me that no one has barely any explanation for all of it.

Amen, uniformed cuties = bangtastic... on to the issue here...

That's drinking nothing but water and maybe 3 shots of alcohol per week, I only drank shots because everything else was too much sugar... okay, fuck my diet, the point here is, unless you're a tremendously lazy fuck (as I was), there is no reason not to lose weight if you want to.

The uniform girls look hottest in is a soccer uniform.

Who agrees with me?

Marge, you being a cop makes you the man! Which makes me the woman -- and
I have no interest in that, besides occasionally wearing the underwear,
which, as we discussed, is strictly a comfort thing.
