I'm looking for suggestions for a few good games. I'm finally replacing my pos 300MHz machine, so I need to find a few games to go with my shiny new box. I'm up for most anything, RTS, FPS, strategy, etc.
Thanks

You might want to try Black & White, if you don't mind absolute and unreformable addiction. Personally, though, I'd wait for B&W2...

Try Halo, it's a good game. And you may want to consider Neverwinter Nights and Jedi Knight, Knights of the Old Republic.

May I suggest "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" No?
Then how about Star Wars Galaxies. I would like to -2 you, but I just can't bring myself to do it when your post is about video games.
Also, I don't know if POPersia Sands of Time is out for PC. But I love that shit on 'the box'.

If you have PS1 get Final Fantasy Tactics. That game is so sweet.
Or Fallout 2. Or Fallout Tactics. Those are good as well.

well reallybored, um, SHUT UP! Yeah, that is true. Those are my recommendation for "Games to Watch For". As for playable games, my personal favorites are Starcraft, Unreal Tournament and the Medal of Honor series.

Stronghold.
Does anyone else have that game? I bought it 'cause it was cheaper than Age of Empires II or Civilization III, but I think I'm the only one in the world who owns it.

Half Life 2 and Doom 3...nuff said. You need a beast of a machine to run it though.

As always, you can't beat Starcraft. Newer things...I have no idea. My box is getting a bit old itself...

Oh, go get Rise Of The Triad. Best FPS E-VER.
