Where to begin?! I just recently broke up with my girlfriend of about 11 months. Id say it was a serious relationship, we spent a lot of time together and such, all that good stuff that couples do. But In the end I did not want to go out anymore, plain and simple. Is that really so wrong? I am teenage, I am not married I wanna go out and "explore" so to speak. I still love her tho, and at least I was honast, and didn't fuck her and dumper her the same day.
Along with that, I got the endless about of trash talk from her friends, now most of them hate me. I could really care less.
But am I REALLY some big asshole becasue I didn't want to go out anymore?

You want to explore, huh? Let me tell you, if you were happy and loved her (you're a teenager? how can you love her?) then what's the point of looking around. You obviously DIDN'T love her, or you wouldn't break her heart just because you "go out and 'explore.' " The way I see it, the only reason to break up with some one is because you don't love the person anymore. That, or they're cheating on you.

If you really did love her you'd still be together.
If you were bored with the relationship and it no longer provided any happiness, then you were just doing what you felt best for both of you. At least you didnt cheat on her. (you better not have)

No, your not an asshole....Your a teenager. Don't sweat it. I'm 27 and my wife of 7 yrs and girlfriend of 10 is divorcing me. So don't even worry about it. Even "long term relationships" arebased on shit. Keeps this in mind. All women are evil beings, hell bent on destroying our "male" lives. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
