I read some posts by some jealous brits and I got to thinking. If Americans are so stupid how come is it that we have the best technology, best medicine, and best society. Sweden and Switzerland are two wealthy nations, but maintaining those small countries doesn't take that much effort. But managing one of the top ten biggest countries does! Im not gonna deny we have our fair share of morons. Just look can Q. Percy for instance. He makes Americans look like a band of nuclear powered monkeys. I do believe we are smarter country than most. Basically exclude every state in the south except Texas and you have some smart people.
Americans are known for wanting Mcdonalds while visiting Paris. Yes it is true AMericans are mostly uncultured and would rather suck pig balls than eat you cow snot noodles. I refuse to eat American food while in foreign coutries simply becuase I want some change. I will say one thing about Americans that does piss me off. We are very arrogant. What is worse is the fact that we don't even realize it. France knows they are arrogant, we think we are patriotic. Being too patriatic is facism, yes I know. Having a society that works as a strong team another way at looking at it.
What I think it boils down to is that you are just jealous. Hell, if I was living in some shit hole in Asia I would be jealous too. That doesn't give you the right to call us idiots. Last time I checked, You Irish clover fucking dick licker, Ireland was the only third world country in western Europe. How the fuck are you smarter than us. Sit down and just drop out in 7th grade just like your familty. I believe we have hard working Americans that do their job everyday and do it damn fine. I don't need some Ausie bastard talking shit. If you don't have anything nice to say then we can send some cruise missles your way.
Other than that you can suck my American balls.

What a fun conversation!
The problem is that we are so rich that we've managed to make our government too powerful and it's ruining it for all of us.
If America wasn't all over the world doing bad stuff, would we still be here calling each other names? Do I have to stick up for everything my government does in order to be patriotic? Do you? What's the point in being patriotic? These are all 'glittering generalities' that sound like good ideas but are again just another way to take our money and put it to the politicians' use.

Every country has a load of idiots but none are so loudmouthed and ignorant of their own ignorance than in america. Maybe its something in your joke for an education system (I use the term educated american as an oxymoron) that makes idiots attract attention to their own lack of brain power, I don't know, just fix it.
There are many "Americans are stupid" posts and many "Americans aren't stupid everyone else is" posts, but I have never seen a post by a non-american as arrogant and stupid as a lot of the "everyone else is" posts.
P.S 40-50 sleeping pills + vodka + more pills + more vodka = painless death, try it.
Also Hidden101 I realise americans aren't ALL that dumb but "most" may be overplaying your hand just a bit.

Questions end a "?". But any way the USA has shit medicine, and most of you are still using old analogue mobile phones or CDMA. I was talking to a friend who works for Australia's 3 network and was saying that it's not even worth their time to set up a 3 network in the USA because the people are too technologicaly impaired.

Care to back that up? What does it mean anyway. They're wealthy. They're small. Two completly unrelated facts. By the way, if you're trying to argue that they have small populations but a lot of money, then you're not making sense, because wealth is worked out on a per-capita basis.

Trevor sucks, let's get that out of the way right now. But let me answer one of your questions for you:

Because the British programs don't have the "General Education" requirements that the US programs do. On average, we have to take AT LEAST a full year of bullshit courses that have nothing to do with our degrees. It's stupid, but that's the way it is.

Okay. First off, Americans do not have better technology, they just have more. They have more dirty, polluting, un-economical, useless technology than any other country. That's something to be proud of.
Secondly, Americans do not have better medicine. Again, they have more medicine. They have a worse health care system then most of Western Europe, if not all, and Canada. American medicine is better than Mexico's though. Wonderful thing to be.
Third, it is possible that Americans have the worst society in the world. Even the Irish, who you chose to put down in your article, have a much better society than you: free health care, free education (straight through post-secondary education), and free craic. That means 'good times'.
Americans do not even have a culture to speak of. The 'American culture' is a conglomerate of traditions from many different other countries, from which the mass population of the States brought along from their homelands; as well as a few things you have created, commercialized, and, for the most part, lost all meaning for.
An example of this would be Thanksgiving. Not only have you totally stripped away all the percieved meaning of the holiday and, more or less, sold out to the economic leaders, but you have also based the holiday on an event which may never have happened, and you are celebrating a fest you had right before you killed most of the people you enjoyed it with and stole all their land. What a wonderful idea.
So, sit the fuck down, and shut the fuck up.

Answer these questions then...
If American's are so smart, why was I required only to have obtained an average grade degree (2nd Class Upper Division, or 2:1) and NOT a first class degree at undergraduate level, when Americans applying for the same courses were required to have graduated with grades in the top 5%?
Why does an American undergraduate degree take on average 4 years, and the British 3 years?
Why is the British A Level, taken in 2 years, and of which I have three, considered to be the equivilent of an American Bachelors degree?
Why does the American public know so little about World history that it allows it's film makers to make such cinematic atrocities as U571, Enemy at the Gates, and Pearl Harbour? Don't tell me you have no control, you do. Don't go and watch them, and see how quickly they stop making such nonsense.
American's are NOT smart, though I am prepared to acknowledge that there are many vastly intelligent individual Americans, whose names will mean nothing to you so I shall not mention them. You leave school with great numeracy but you know next to nothing about the rest of the world and, more to the point, most of you don't care. How many could tell me where Tajikistan was, and it's capital, without looking it up on a map? Who was Benjamin Disraeli? William Gladstone? Charles Stewart Parnell? Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov? Josef Dgushevili? Do you know? Do you even care? Of course not, the fact that these men are so crucial to the shape of the world as it is today is completely irrelevant.
