I'm proud that this post is pushing another's well thought out ideas off of the main page.
Wow, I'm actually trying to force myself to think up of a topic to make a post about. At first I thought I would try to do something thought provoking, but the only thoughts I have managed to provoke so far are "this sucks". So here I am, sitting in front of a blank screen, and I'm just trying to think up something that might please the masses. (Or send them into a -2 fury)
This community is one tough crowd, you're all brutally honest and don't mind throwing in some sucker punches or "you're gay"'s along the way. This website gives you the feeling of being a fish in a sea of sharks, if the fish could write and the sharks could criticize. You don't have to let your blood (writing) into the water for long before you're swarmed on. Sometimes it's positive, a +2 here and there, a "good job" or "well written", just a nice pat on the back for something you threw together to just get your thoughts out in the open, but there's a dark side to it.
There is some sick fascination with getting a -2, something that just makes you smirk whenever you see it. You are seeing that someone has decided to take the time to make an attempt to insult what you have created, and many times they fail miserably at it. Unless you left a chink in your armor or a sore spot that even the least eloquent can poke until you want to curl up in a ball and reminice about apple pie. So throw some -2's my way, I like apple pie.
Oh, and if your reasoning is that this post was "pointless", I already know, nice try.
