I was spending one of my Saturdays as usual watching ESPN College Gameday, when i realized that I had been watching ESPN's Sportscenter for too long. I knew this when the anchor's opinions had changed. When i first turned on the tv, i heard one anchor say, "Every college football team is afraid of OKlahoma."
to this, the other anchor replied something to the effect of, "there is no team in college football that fears any other team. They all prepare the same mental toughness for game day regardless of the opponnent."
Both commentators seemed so adament about their opinions that i thought that both sides had good points. but, i was soon to be proven wrong... about an hour later, the same commentators came on. the first one repeated, "every college football team is afraid of Oklahoma." i thought that i was having deja vu until the other answered with a completely different answer thatn before. he said, "MOST teams aren't afraid of Oklahoma.....blah, blah, blah..." but that wasnt the end of it.another hour passed and the anchors were back again "every college football team is afraid of Oklahoma." (im thinking, "not again!") the other one replies, "and they should be."
this is what pisses me off. These "experts" get paid thousands an hour to sit around and rant off every feasable opinion just so they can be right some time. im never wasting another saturday with those bastards again.

do you watch sportscenter to get spoonfed "your own opinions", so you can brag that you know something about sports? or do you watch it, to see highlights, and catch up on what you missed while you were asleep. i watch it so i can see what i missed, and so i can see who did well, and who didnt yesterday. sportscenter has two functions:
1. to update the sports fan on yesterday's events.
2. to give morons, and women, opinions on sports.
these guys need ratings too. thats why they feed contrasting opinions to the viewers. it makes for an intresting water cooler conversation.

The very essence of an opinion is that it can be changed. To argue an opinion is to make it subject to potential change. Way to waste your life watching television.
