i heard somewhere that if you type in the words, "miserable failure" into the Google search engine that the first site that pops up is George W. Bush's official bio, like someone set it that way. i tried it and it is true. im not planning on trying it or anything but i was just wondering if anyone knew how "google bombing" works.

This trick is possible because Google searches more than just the contents of web pages - it also counts how often a site is linked to, and with what words. Thus, members of an online community can affect the results of Google searches - called "Google bombing" - by linking their sites to a chosen one.
