there is something about this place.
i left for a bit over the summer in a failed attempt to get over some of the criticisms i got for posting here. it didn't work.
ubersite keeps me up at night. it is my reason to play on the internet until the wee hours of the morning. it is my reason to go to work in the morning. it is my reason to ignore the phone.
it is my reason, my sanity, my cleverness, my hatefulness, my wittiness.
how often does a match like this occur?
there are only a few times in a person's life when they find a perfection in life's chaos. the perfect car, the perfect computer, the perfect sweater, even the perfect person--all singular instances stretched over long periods of time.
on ubersite, you can remake yourself.
be anyone you want.
go ahead, change your name, and try to start again.
we will figure you out.
no matter how far away any of us live from each other, the world is a smaller place on ubersite. talk with anyone you want from all kinds of countries and religions and races and opinions. somehow, we all end up being friends in this close-knit community. everyone knows each other. who needs email when you can trustingly post your cell # on here?
i have told all of you everything about myself in several different posts. my mom, when the internet was younger and i still lived under her roof, told me you should never share information with other people on the internet. now i am jealous that other uberusers got christmas cards and i have not.
