Fat people: The final solution.
I generally don't have a problem with fat people. Until being a lard ass became a government recognized disability. Broken back? Fine. Stroke? Fine. Those are disabilities. Can't stop stuffing your fat face? NOT a disability. If you are a half-ton behemoth who can't walk, you MAY want to cut back on the twinkies.
There is a fat assed woman who can't walk around her house because she can't fit through her doors. Let's think about this... can't fit through the door. This is not something that just happens overnight. There has to be that middle point where you can still just squeeze through if you wiggle. (Or jiggle in this case)That would be god's way of saying STOP.
The government is paying $20,000 to remodel her house. This means YOU are paying 20,000 dollars for Jabba the hut to have her floors re-enforced and doors widened. God help these people if I ever get into office. My solution? Kick the fat-bitch out of her house, and move 3 or 4 homeless families in. Everyone wins! Living on the street for 2 or 3 years will trim her down to a sexy 400lb, and the homeless people can get back on their feet.
Do not misunderstand me here. If you are 400 + lb, but you are a functioning member of society, fine! Live large, by all means! Be fat! Be jolly! Eat all that you want! As long as you can take care of yourself, you can do whatever the hell you want as far as I am concerned. Just don't call it a disability. First, you are taking money from those who are genuinely disabled. Second, getting extra money won't help you. Starving might just be the best thing that ever happened to you.
If we are going to put fat people into a government program, let's put them in a program that will help them. Let them clean highways. Build public works. Run treadmills to generate electricity for our cities. But for god's sake don't give them money.
Don't give me garbage about genetic predisposition toward obesity. That is bullshit. http://www.obesity.org/subs/disability/ <- article states that some people are more likely to store energy as fat. That is what they mean by obesity being hereditary. You store more food as fat. This process still involves stuffing your face. Think about it. Not a lot of fat Ethiopians running around, is there?
If you ever catch yourself tipping the scales at 500lb, you are no longer a "little" overweight. You are a full fledged lard-ass. If you have friends or relatives that exceed the maximum weight of a car, please... do them a favor. Tell them they are fat. Tell them it is NOT ok. And for god's sake... Tell them IT IS THEIR FAULT. If you see a child that weighs more than an adult, take the child away from its parents. Seriously. Put the damned butterball in a foster home. A 300lb 8 year old is being abused. This attitude of acceptance is killing people, and ruining lives.

yogimus: yea, i completely agree with you. this is not a disability. people need to take resposibility for their own actions and stop accepting the fact they are fat asses. i wasnt pushing 200+ but i was like the michilan tire guy.

Slower metabolism means that you need less food... But I was talking about 5-8 year olds that are hitting 200+.
I have nothing against fat people at all. God bless them. But I REFUSE to acknowledge it as a disability. It is a symptom of a problem. It can be a variety of problems, but NOOOBODY wants to deal with the cause.
Some gee whiz crap: $77,000,000 are given MONTHLY to 134,000 fatbodies. With no requirement for improvement.

this was a great post until that line.
for the first 12years of my life, i was a lard-ass. it wasnt from bad parenting or over-eating. it turns out that my metabolism is not very, very slow. i ate what a normal child at those ages ate, however, the cortisol build-up caused there to be excess fat.
luckily, im now normal weight and can now laugh at fat people.

ess2s2 I think your post recieved a negative response because of the way you presented your message. Your post ended up talking about bulemia and anorexia, which are both self esteem emotional issues. Mine is strictly about over eating, which is a self control/obsessive issue, and I focused on the government support of this type of behavior.
Your post and mine, while discussing the same issue, approach it from different angles.

My mother works as as Psychiatrist @ a Veteran's Hospital, and she just goes on and on a/b how these guys spend their welfare money on drugs and shit. I've inherited her disgust at poor people, but now I think it's time to take a different view.. thanks

they would stop stuffing their faces with food they're so fucking huge. This stupid ass government
also sucks by giving them cash?!? What the hell? Look, I don't pay taxes, but I can
speak for my parents by saying that is the biggest waste of Federal money since welfare! I can't believe that in a few years i'll be contributing to this mess.

Welfare is a great thing. For starters, last time I checked you can only stay on it for 6 months. So, no people are not living off of it. Second, I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to get back on your feet with only a few low paying jobs.

I hate fat people...mostly because I work at Tim Horton's, and have to deal with their shitty attitudes.
You see, I'm a veteran of that shithole. I can tell what the people are looking for when they look at different angles around the store. I prepare myself for dread when they look at the food poster. I prepare for the dread of "guiding" them through a seemingly simple procedure of "soup, donut, and coffee", and then preparing it.
I got a question for all you guys out there...preferably in Canada. When you go to McDonald's, do you ask everytime for them to fuck up your sandwich by putting honey mustard on the McChicken, instead of mayo? I certainly don't, I just accept it, and it's pretty good. At work, EVERYONE modifies their fucking sandwich at their own discretion. So I just piss them off in return by saying that because they decided to modify their sandwich at this time, they'll have to be charged extra for the extra stuff.
