Bitch about the BCS all you want....
The fact is that the top three teams at the end of the year all had the same record, so someone had to get dropped....
- Oklahoma lost to Kansas State, a strong ranked team.
- LSU lost to the University of Florida, a strong ranked team.
- USC lost to Cal... an unranked, shitty team.
Sorry USC, but the fact is that only reason you are rated #1 in the AP/Coaches Poll is because you lost first, and pollsters have shitty short-term memories. The BCS picked the right 2 teams for the Sugar Bowl. Thats right Kirk Herbshit... the computers we're right. The only reason analysts don't like computers is because they are all stupid retired athletes. They never touched a computer during college because their coaches cheated them through all their classes.
USC is full of pricks anyways...
oh yeah... Oklahoma is gonna beat LSU by 6. Enjoy the game everyone.

Sure, they complain about it too much, but always for the wrong reasons. If you really want a single national champion, move to a playoff system. It guarentees that the champion is able to win consistantly as well as when everything is on the line.
I don't like the BCS. Why? I remember when conference championships meant something. Even if you weren't the best team in the country, you were the Big Ten Champion. That garnered you national respect. It also made the Bowls more important. The Rose Bowl meant more than it does now, even if you were not playing for a national championship. This year, I did not care if Michagain won. It was *only* the Rose Bowl after all. Sure, the Fiesta Bowl was important to me, but that was only because Ohio State was playing in it.
Either go to a playoff, or realize that there is no litmus test to determine the best team in the nation. I would prefer the later, but either would be accepable.
Regardless, LSU is the National Champion this year. Even I will not dispute this. I guess the BCS is good for something afterall.

what i hated the most was the usc coach claiming that they were the "best team in the country" after the rose bowl win. This idea of a split championship sucks.
Geaux Tigers!

USC is the 3rd best team in the nation.
Lets agree that all 3 teams all had 1 bad game. Aside from that...
#1 Oklahoma is the most dominant team college football has seen in a long time.
#2 LSU's defense has held ever team they have played under 20 points.. which is amazing.
#3 USC has a great defensive line.. and 2 outstanding sophomores on Offense... thats about it. Maybe if they didn't play a Pee-wee league level football schedule, i'd be less skeptical.

I think Oklahoma is the best. Hopefully, UF will improve for next year.

REmember the good old days when there was no national championship GAME and the national champion was just determined by rankings? now, all of these money hungry sponsors need a way to make even more money and have the four BCS games rotate for which is the national championship game every year.
By the way, USC is the best team in the nation, even if their name is an acronym for "University of Spoiled Children"
