So you inhale a little Silica, big deal. Ok it shows me one thing you actually really don't want to eat those little packets you find in your shoes. But don't you think for a minute that Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the only thing you can get from inhaling certian things on our planet.
A very common respiratory problem is Coccidioidomycosis, also known as Valley Fever. Fun? I think not. With inflammation to both paretial and visceral pleura it is extremely painful to simply breathe. It is often contracted through spores that are inhaled from dirt.
Anyway lets get to the point. These is what can happen to your Respiratory tract:
Airway Obstruction - Apnea - Asbestosis - Asthma - Asthma - Asthma - Atelectasis - Berylliosis - Bronchial Diseases - Bronchiectasis - Bronchiolitis - Bronchiolitis - Bronchiolitis - Bronchiolitis Obliterans Organizing Pneumonia - Bronchiolitis Obliterans Organizing Pneumonia - Bronchiolitis Obliterans Organizing Pneumonia - Bronchitis - Bronchitis - Bronchitis - Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia - Common Cold - Cough - Empyema, Pleural - Empyema, Pleural - Epiglottitis - Hemoptysis - Kartagener Syndrome - Kartagener Syndrome - Kartagener Syndrome - Lung Diseases - Lung Diseases, Interstitial - Meconium Aspiration - Meconium Aspiration - Pleural Diseases - Pleural Effusion - Pleurisy - Pleurisy - Pneumonia - Pneumonia - Pneumothorax - Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis - Pulmonary Disease, Chronic Obstructive - Pulmonary Edema - Pulmonary Embolism - Pulmonary Emphysema - Pulmonary Fibrosis - Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Newborn - Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Newborn - Respiratory Hypersensitivity - Respiratory Tract Diseases - Respiratory Tract Infections - Rhinoscleroma - Rhinoscleroma - Scimitar Syndrome - Scimitar Syndrome - Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome - Silicosis - Sleep Apnea, Central - Stridor (not on MeSH) - Tracheal Stenosis - Wegener's Granulomatosis - Whooping Cough -
Your only possible way to prevent this is to refrain from going outside, or even being inside your mothers womb (I.E. meconium aspiration). Your really better off at just ridding yourself from existence now, at least there wont be much suffering with your head blown off.
So there it is my atempt at floccinaucinihilipilification. Use it impress your friends!! I wish I had friends.

ah nice try but death is not a respiratory disease but only secondary to certian diseases. Death cannot be contracted however may be the end result.

you can get all of those but ...somehow..."death" isnt on the list...
i think death would probably be easier than dealing with all of those.
the real question is "does it get you high?"

Do you really think I have that kind of time to write all that shit down? The long words I copy/pasted and all that shit in the middle were just links from the search "respiratory diseases" or "respiratory distress" or some bullshit like that. fuck nocka
However I can tell you why there is once twice and thrice written down, and that's because there are several different types of the same problem. For example the Asthma I believe is written three times. Asthma can be from allergic reaction, exertion, or stress, bada-bing. Theres your answer.
