For a long time I would ask myself this question. After Saved by the Bell, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Saved By the Bell: The Hawaiin Summer, Saved by the Bell: Mission to Mars, and the remaining 8 spinoffs, I still could not get enough of the great character that is masterfully played by Dustin Diamond, known as Screech. It would have seemed that Dustin Diamond pigeon-holed himself into a one-dimensional role and could never get out of his role as Screech. Most people would only associate Dustin Diamond with Screech, but not me. I wanted more.
Just when I thought that Dustin Diamond had faded off in a flurry of cocaine and infected prostitutes like so many other fallen angels, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. It seems that Dustin Diamond is alive and kicking and his powerful presence has even been gracing the pages of none other than Ubersite.
This post is a tribute to you, Screech. And I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours as a rock star, kick-ass guitarist. May the music industry be so lucky...
