I've grown up with my brother the way all brothers do (it was just me and my brother, 2,5 years age diff., i was youngest).

At a young age he was proud of me, i was just a baby. Hell, he even saw me as a new toy to play with (tell the neighbour kids i was a vampire with evil teeth and such...and yes, somehow they believed him). But as time grew -and so did we-, we grew apart as most brothers do at those ages. Whenever and wherver we went we would fight. Fighting wasn't something that occured sometimes....nooo, it was a goal of it's own, it had to be done, one way or the other.
I reckon my parents weren't particularly fond of us fighting all the time, especially coming home to broken glass and seeing my brother smile as he told them he smashed my head through it. I still tell myself such things -just happen-.

Anyways, puberty hit...'t was an interesting period of my life (to say the least). I got along with my brother up-to-a-point...and this point was made as-long-as-we-played-basketball. Whenever we set foot off the court....well, agreeing on topics was something as common as an iraqi not digging in his t-72.

Things changed though: my brother moved out. How a turn our relationship towards each other took. We went from sworn enemies (i stopped playing basketball alltogether a while before, imagine the time in between) to good friends. Hell, after about a year we even started going out to town together. We drank our first drinks together, and my brother showed me how to smoke pot (how nice the dry bottom of a pie can taste when you've smoked for the first time!) for the first time. One year later my brother even started hanging out with me and my friends....we really got along great.
Eventually he moved to the other side of town, one year later i decided to even buy an apartment two buildings apart from him (that's how close we got, he's the main reason i didn't move to a city closer to work). Things didn't change much, we became best friends.

But sometimes we get ingot fights over the smallest things....we have discussions all the times, but not fights. Fights is what we get when we've drank....not the fights where we end up hitting each other, but one of us goes home angry...usually over nothing. But last week (and here's what's got me writing this post) we got another fight over something small (my brother not giving me an extra beer home...even though i bloody paid for them...i still think i am right for beeing pissed about him beeing an egoistical bastard ;-). But this time i didn't call him the next day...this time i feel i'm right about beeing pissed. Or i just feel that i have to make a point...i don't know for sure.

One thing i've learned over the years....alcohol never does any good over the long run.

I'll post here when we've settled ;-)

Wow, I killed that tongue twister...

Peter Pecker picked a pint of pickled peppers? Is his last name *really* Pecker? Are pickled peppers sort of like pickled pig's feets only not? What the hell am I rambling about?

Someone help me...

such a long post, such petty material. i think you should take some time apart from your bro, sounds like you need to seperate and have your own life, rather than acting like your still living w/ mummy & daddy

Sorry to say it was a shared boat....was a rather big boat with free food and drinks on it though (room @ $140, and $30 for boat)....no complaints about it...but we really did want out private boat as well. But just coming from LA, shopping@barstow, and then vegas...well...we were going a bit cheaper from there on....hehe

was the boat just yours or was it for everyone staying at the hotel?

because if there is a hotel where you get a boat with your room I need to know about it.

glam_daddy: hehehe, tnx for the tips ;-)

I'm from near amsterdam...20 km's from it...
And that boat was the boat that came along with the room at ceaser's hotel @ lake tahoe (stateline)....we went there because our granparents went there about 10 years ago...saw the pictures, and wanted to see it...

Introductions are usually more successful AFTER you've made a few good posts. Then, people might actually care to find out more about you. I may be tactless, but that is the damn truth.

Cool is that your boat? And where exactly were you all form Holland? I went to amsterdam a few years back. It was beautiful.

(see how that works?)

Bart: I'll take up smoking and give that up.

Homer: Good for you, son. Giving up smoking is one of the hardest
things you'll ever have to do. Have a dollar.
