This is something pretty much unimportant but i felt like today was a good day to post.
For anyone out there whose always wondered what is exactly 'the friend code' or better known as 'the girl code'.
Here ya go.
1. Don't Mess around with another man's monkey. Theoretically means that if that guy is attached don't try and mess things up.
--well i know that first and biggest rule ever is broken alot. Some are honest enough to follow it. I mean there are exceptions but its mostly if two girls are friends, trusted friends for that matter they shouldn't go against their friends back to be with the same guy. Now sometimes but not always, if the guy says hes single and a girl does things with him but then later on tells them 'Oh I Have a girlfriend' that is your one and only time that this rule can't apply cause you didnt know otherwise.
This rule is one of the most valued ones out of all of them.
2. Friends don't flirt with another friends guy.
--It's understandable. it happens. But at all costs try to avoid it. The girlfriend will get jealous and may turn on their friend cause of it. Bad thing I say. The girl may think she's either a numbered wheel or somethings going on btw her BF and friend. Bad Bad choice if at all costs. But it's best to avoid.
3. Friends don't reveal confidental things to the boyfriend.
--Some things may slip, but the girl trusted you enough to tell you her problems so don't turn your back and spill the beans. The girl may not want the guy to know. Eventually the girlfriend will tell him but til then keep the lips sealed.
4. A Girl Standard
--Never show guilt trips toward a guy that broke up with you. Yes it hurts. Yes the pain takes time. But one thing i know a guy hates most is a guy who pulls a guilt trip on them. It's possible they may start to think less and realize that girl can't survive on her own two feet. Its 2004 women can stand on their damn own two feet. But don't show that at times you cant. It means defeat and lose of pride.
5. Dating a friend's Ex
--this is a major nono unless the friend gives you go ahead. But the best thing is to double check numerous times to see if she has a problem with it. Otherwise if she doesnt the guy's your enjoy. But if the friend goes against your wishes. Turmoil may start to appear.
Now, I don't know everything about codes or dating, but I gave 5 examples. These are the ones which are mostly practiced. Yes, there are occassions that they make break but these exceptions all for mistakes. Our human nature of mistakes in order to learn. But if the friend deliberately broke these then maybe she wasn't a good friend in the first place.

thanks for the tip Rubixxcube...but i've read alot of posts and everyone has there style of writing and this just happens to be one of my ways.
this is the friend code i live by.
the reason for don't date friends exes is because that girl may end up hanging out with you two and see how you are with her and remember past experiences. It just leads back to hurt she already experienced before.

I never really understood the whole "Don't date friend's exes" thing. If you broke up, there must be a reason, so what difference is it that someone else might be better suited to your ex than you? obviously there was something that she liked about you, so isn't it kind of fitting that she would get along well enough with them to date them? Maybe I'm just weird.

To be a little more constructive, it seems that all of your posts seem to get similar reviews and leave many users stumbling through what you have written, due to word choice, grammar, sentence structure or maybe subject matter. seems like you like to do these definition posts, as i remember your "why be an asshole, be a man" post that was similar. I would stick to reading more and posting less, in the meantime work on your writing/english skills and you may receive a warmer welcome with your next post.
And you'll get less reviews that say:
"huh"
or
"what the fuck did you say"
or, my favorite from your last post:

If you mess around with a guy who is dating one of your friends...it isn't just your fault it is his as well...
He obviously didn't value the relationship enough to remain loyal... Of course us guys are more like animals so I guess you can't really hold us at fault :-/ ..oh wait... It goes two ways, if the ass was kind of guy to fuck someone behind his girls back he is obviously a dick. Although that still doesn't excuse the friend...

Hmm.. not really sure what to say... i had some trouble reading it, i had to read some things over as some sentences didn't make sense.
but i sure didn't need to read this to know "Not to mess around with another man's monkey"
I also don't want a another man to mess with my monkey, my monkey is for women only... but i didn't need an uber post to come to this realization.
