Murphy I guess you don't watch the news too much, at least recently there is a tie between Alkida (mispelled I know) and the Iraq opposition. It wasn't about that connection itself, it's obvious that Iraq supported terriost organizations. That in it's self is enough reason to fuck with another country. Get them before they get us, or in US's case before they get us again. It's clear to me that Osama had funding for this attack. And that he has funding from someone to run these terroist organizations, Sadam probably funded a lot of money, which in turn is used against us.

because I support this war. I don't believe this is about oil. And let's not forget that even Clinton bombed Iraq several times. Look regardless if WMD's are found or not, and let's face that question is still up in the air, here was a dicatator that controlled his country by fear. Let his son's rape children and murder anyone they saw fit. Who killed his own people. And who gave the middle finger to the ass whipped UN, who is to afraid to stand up to people that defy UN orders. Sure our country is in a mess, and sure the president could do a better job. It's not like the economy is his fault, he was handed a huge mess from Clinton. Then of course Sept 11, didn't help anything. So what if we are on a slow return. Besides it isn't like the president has any real "power" anyways, or was I the only one that paid attention in US history.
I do however think this government needs a serious "reboot." This generation should take it upon ourselves to correct the wrongs of our government. By running under a new banner to get the old cats out of Washington and bring some new blood in. Maybe I'm just being ideological. I don't know, but I don't think our senetors or congressmen have our best interest at heart anymore.
Also I hope that Kerry doesn't get elected, it's a hard thing to believe someone when they constently change their opinions. Then again, maybe it's just me

We've lost over 500 of our troops and counting. Iraq has lost over 10... get this... THOUSAND. Now, if I recall correctly, that little piloted missle on 9/11 killed 3k of us. If I were representing Iraq, I'd be pissed.
Why is it OK for us to storm in to a country and terrorize THEM? Iraq didn't even attack us... Saudi Arabia did. Saddam had no links to Al Queda... he and Osama differed on their fundamental politics. They hated each other.
One more thing. Wouldn't a transcontinental missle be pretty big? I mean, something with enough fuel to travel across the Atlantic with a nuclear warhead (or a biological weapon) large enough to be considered to cause mass destruction, be big? Where are they? Didn't Bush tell us that was why we invaded Iraq? Because they had weapons and we had proof? Over a year later, we still have no proof.
What if the FBI slammed your door down and sifted through your property and locked you up without fair trial under the Patriot Act because they government said they had proof that you had links to Al Queda? And they didn't find anything? And they kept you in jail without the right to an attorney because they had "the best intelligence"? What if they kept you in jail and told everyone it was there... that they were looking, and in the mean time made private companies filthy rich by contracting out special search equipment and food and fuel without any bidding whatsoever under the umbrella of "national security" all the while just tearing down your house and promising to rebuild it when in fact their real agenda is to take your house and sell it to the highest bidder because you live in the one neighborhood in all of America who has a black runny product that other people depend on and therefor by default you're filthy rich and can afford to keep yourself away from international bidders. Actually...one of the scarier things about the upcoming election upon thinking about it is that if Bush was willing to do the things he did (mislead on the WMD issue, cover up the nation's energy policy, etc.) while he still had a shot at re-election, now that he doesn't, what will he be willing to do? BTW, contrary to popular belief, there are people in the military, who served in the military, who are employed by the defense industry who support our nation's defense.
