I hate religions, they are a complete waste.
Think for a minute, think about people born in a different country.
All their lives they are surrounded by people who practice a different religion. How the fuck could they possibly practice your religion. Find it online then practice it against everybody they know? Of course not. Nobody would live their entire life like that. So basically if you are born in a country that practices a different religion then you are fucked? That is fucking stupid to me.
Something I wrote;
I believe in morality. The christian scheme of salvation to me is a forced
obediance. A threat with fear of going to the christian hell, or a bribe
in hopes of getting into the christian heaven. This is not morality.
This bribery may effect proper behavior in some people. But it cant be called
moral. Morality is doing the right thing because it is the right thing.
Morality never involves doing something as a way to obtain personal gain
(christian heaven) or to avoid personal loss (christian hell).
I believe in an omnipotence, a greater power, however the christian god does
not seem fathomable. When you understand why you dismiss all the other
possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
I'm sorry that I dont put faith in something so inane. I put faith in people,
which I can feel and see. I put faith in myself, which I control. I fully
and completely support your christianity. It has helped you, and you are
a good person with it. I am not trying to change you. I don't want you to
change at all. You are perfect to me how you are. I just want you to be more
comfortable with my lack of belief.
I wrote this for a girl I am completely in love with.
She hated the fact that I'm atheist and after I gave her this, she understood completely.
I just think that if there is an actual 'God', then he would make himself evident. He would come out and show himself. To just expect people to believe in you is nonsense.
I know I've posted some real trash, but I hope this changes your views on me.
The shit I've posted previously was just to make myself laugh, this is so you actually know that I am not the dumbass I've pretended to be. Sorry

As Carl Sagan said, "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." I'm not saying that there is a God, but to assume that there is not just because you haven't seen him is not sound reasoning.

Tatered you really make yourself look stupid when you post something that is somewhat cohesive and then rebuff everyones comments with "Fuck you", I'm going to venture a guess ask if you are 18 or younger. The religion topic has been so played out on uber, most people won't even read a post with the word "religion" in it, its such a tired topic to argue about, no one feels like making the same points every 3 days a post comes up on uber. Like I said before I don't have anything personal against you, most people probably don't, but don't get your feelings hurt if people -2 the shit out of your posts, thats the nature of ubersite, there are 6000+ users on here, with that many different opinions, a lot of them are going to think yours is shit.

Well this is a forum, and I wanted to discuss religion with the people on this forum, how else could I do that without making a new post? I sure as hell couldn't just start posting on some post from 10 days ago, nobody would pay attention. I guess all I'm trying to say is I don't care if its been done before, it was done without me. Also, fuck you.
