I know everyone hates poetry posts, but I thought this one was rather good.

Have you ever seen a grown man cry?
I hadn't until today
As I watched my face in the mirror
And saw the tears run from my eyes
A short distance before dissappearing into my beard
Or dripping off of my nose,
Soaking this sheet
I heard the echos of my sobs
Reflected from the corners
Of this cluttered room.
The sharp, shallow gasps in
And drawn out heartbeats exhale.
A solitary tear traced down my cheek,
Not caused by the pain of a scar
Just a fissure in my heart.
I found myself longing for a kiss
Something to know I'm alive;
A girl, or a razor, it makes no difference
Something to know that I am here.
I'm sitting.
and writing.
and crying.
Never finding anything more,
Than that which I already know.
One last present for my mother
One shattered piece of porcelain,
And one shattered little boy,
Sobbing on the floor.

I've got the part of Tevye in the Fiddler on the Roof, that's the only reason for the beard. I actually rather dislike the beard. I'm shaving it off on May 9th, which is the day after the final show.
