So one more day until I embark on my journey to Florida. Lately I feel like I have absolutely no time to do anything. I didn't get to visit friends I wanted to visit. I am still not finished packing. I rarely sleep because I get images of lists of *shit to do* in my head, keeping me up until the wee hours of the night.
I am excited, nonetheless. I am looking forward to being on my own and living life how I want to for once, instead of how everyone else thinks I should. Despite all this stress and anxiety I am extremely happy with life. My cancer count is down to basically nothing. I am in remission and it is now a thing of my past instead of my way of life.
When I originally came upon Ubersite I didn't know much about it at all...hence my first post...but I have found here a group of people I very much look forward to hearing about on a daily basis. Even the assholes make this place what it is. I used this as a way to vent about my frustrations and seek objective advice from those who do not know me at all. It's wonderful.
I feel like I've missed so much in the past week because I quit my job and therefor did not have access to a computer as readily as before. To be honest, I hope my next job does not allow me the time to surf the internet and read posts as much as my last one. I prefer to be busy because at least I feel more productive.
So mostly, I will not be frequenting this site as much but I am not gone from it for good. I have to keep up on the latest roommate saga from Erika and Kristen's daily life-lesson story, JMG's recent j-date extravaganza...sooo many more. I can't name everyone. But I appreciate all the encouragement I got from people here. You have no idea how good it made me feel on days when I was totally depressed and contemplating suicide to rid myself of the pain of chemotherapy. The impact was amazing to me from people I don't know at all.
I can't wait until Ubermeet in Florida or at least in the southeast so I can go meet the people I have been disclosing personal information about my life to.

I am off to continue packing! Did I mention that i have NOO help packing because my family doesn't want me to leave. Nice, right?!? They figure maybe i wont get done in time and miss my autotrain heading south. Schemers...they're a bunch of schemers!

It has been lovely getting to know you, and I'm so glad that you showed us the 'real' you instead of continuing to post stuff like that first post. Haha, that was horrific! You know I love you anyway. Without you and Matt constantly using Uber for sexual innuendo Ubersite wouldn't be the same!
