Wow, I haven't posted at this site in a long time. And I don't figure to post here again after this. But I have something to say and I want to tell it to as many people as possible.
No, this isn't about how I found Jesus or some crap like that. I am here to tell you about a TV show that I am absolutely obsessively crazy about. That show, as you may have guessed from the subject, is Arrested Development. It airs at 9:30 pm Sundays on Fox. It is absolutely brilliant. It is the funniest show I've seen in a long time. Now I am a rabid Simpsons fan, but let me tell you, I look forward to AD more than any other show on TV right now. It is the most consistently funny show I have ever seen. And it's endlessly quotable. Only fifteen episodes have aired, and my girlfriend and I already use a host of quotes from the show. If you like subtle, clever wit and are sick of the bland white-bread scripts that pass for humor on TV today, you will love this show.
While I do like to share things that I think others will like, my reasons for plugging this show are not completely altruistic. You see, the ratings for this program are not that great. This show could be the next Seinfeld, the big water cooler show, but people are just not watching it. It needs viewers to thrive.
So please, watch at least a few episodes of this show. There is a marathon on FX this Sunday. And if you like it (which you will, if you have an IQ in the triple digits), pass it on. And for the love of Christ, if you're a Nielsen family, have this show on every time it comes on. Again, it's Arrested Development. Sundays at 9:30 (8:30 central and mountain time, probably) on Fox. Please. Thank you.

I really like the show, especially the romances. I think it is doomed because it is too good.

I love Arrested Development. I hope it doesn't get cancelled, it's the only other show on TV that ever makes me laugh out loud besides Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (you should watch that too, it's great!)

I totally agree that Arrested Development kicks ass. How could a show that occasionally features Bob Odenkirk and David Cross not be hilarious? There is not a way.

Fox will end up cancelling it because they want to air more reality drivel.
I love that show. Wednesday's episode had a quote to die for:
Gob:
"She doesn't know who you are?"
Michael:
"No, she thinks I'm 'Cherith Cutestory the pirate lawyer.' "
Gob:
"You lied to her?"
Michael:
(a beat) "yes"

I've seen the show a couple of times. It's ok, I guess. The only reason I watched it is because I left the TV on after The Simpsons. So, if I'm a Neilsen household, I guess that I'm supporting your cause.

Shoot, forgot about Sopranos. Well, watch one and tape the other. Or if you have satellite and are on the west coast, you can watch the Sopranos at six instead of nine. Or you can watch the Sopranos one of the thrity-seven times they repeat it through the week. Just watch AD. You won't regret it.

Maybe I'll start watching it now that THE FUNNIEST SHOW ON TV seasons just ended...of course I'm talking about Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Nah, sunday night is HBO night. i'd rather watch sopranos....titties and no commercials.
